About the Role The Manager 2 - Corporate Relations role at Sun Pharma is responsible for coordinating regulatory approvals, licensing, and government liaison to ensure smooth manufacturing operations in Paonta Sahib. The incumbent will monitor compliance, manage stakeholder relationships, and lead CSR initiatives in the local area. What You'll Do
- Monitor due dates for approvals, application filings, and coordinate with Food & Drugs Administration/CDSCO for timely approvals under the Drugs & Cosmetics Act, including ONDLS Portal knowledge.
- Coordinate with State Pollution Control Board and Plant EHS Team for environmental compliances and requisite approvals.
- Obtain requisite licenses/permits from the State Excise Department.
- Ensure constant power supply to manufacturing units and minimize use of DG sets.
- Liaise with District Administration, State Industries Department, Town & Country Planning, Local Government, Fire, Revenue, Labour and other related departments for approvals.
- Identify and implement CSR projects in local areas.
- Represent the company before authorities to protect organizational interests; track policy changes and share information with business impact.
- Coordinate for approvals from Petroleum & Explosive Safety Organisation.
- Maintain compliance reports and record keeping at plant level.
- Travel frequently for local coordination with government departments. What We're Looking For
- Educational Qualification: Graduate (preference for Law Graduate or MBA)
- Experience: 8 to 10 years
- Knowledge & Skills: Knowledge of Industrial, Drugs & Environmental laws; Computers & Online Portals; Strong inter-personal skills; Integrity; Passion; Problem solving; Humble Nice to Have
