About the Role The Management Trainee position is designed to develop future store leadership by delivering an outstanding shopping experience and learning essential sales, merchandising and operational skills. Trainees work with the Store Manager to develop sales, recruiting and leadership abilities to become Store Manager, and share responsibility for training teammates, stepping in as Store Manager when needed. What You'll Do
- Assist in sales generation and guest service as you greet Guests, answer questions, and help locate merchandise based on Guest needs.
- Anticipate Guest needs, create a wardrobe experience, and demonstrate product knowledge and sales education to teammates and Guests.
- Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, policies and security practices; follow the SPG (Sales Presentation Guide) to uphold consistent personal and teammate presentations.
- Perform cashiering, merchandising, display pulls, register procedures, and routine cleaning of facilities; support store operations under the Store Manager.
- Work directly with the Store Manager to develop sales, recruiting and leadership skills to potentially assume Store Manager responsibilities; share responsibility for training and motivating Teammates and act as Store Manager in their absence.
- Aim to achieve personal sales per hour, average sales and total net sales goals. What We're Looking For
- Retail sales and leadership aptitude
- Ability to perform cashiering, merchandising, training, coaching, and store operations
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent retail experience
