Mammography Technologist

About the Role Logan Health is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Mammography Technologist to join our Radiology team in Kalispell. This full-time role performs mammography imaging, DEXA scans, and bone density testing, with patient throughput, preparation, and post-processing to support early detection of breast cancer. What You'll Do

• Properly identify and prepare patients for mammography exams, clearly explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort
• Obtain and accurately document relevant patient history and exam-related information
• Perform mammography imaging and process images for radiologist interpretation
• Complete all required documentation in accordance with departmental protocols
• Ensure patients understand exam results and available options as communicated by the Radiologist
• Perform daily start-up, end-of-day, and next-day preparation duties per department procedures
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, including stocking and inventory control
• Assist with quality assurance activities and preparation for ACR and FDA accreditation
• Participate in continuing education and ongoing professional development related to mammography What We're Looking For
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• Current ARRT certification
• Montana State Radiologic Technologist license (state license)
• BLS certification
• Current Driver’s License with a driving record clear of moving violations within the past five years and no major driving offenses (DUI, etc.)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with diverse audiences
• Excellent organizational skills; detail-oriented; self-starter; able to prioritize and work both independently and as part of a team
• Mammography certification preferred or must be successfully obtained within six months of hire
• Minimum one year experience as a Mammography Technologist preferred
• Breast Sonography Qualifications (as applicable to role): ARDMS certification required; minimum one year experience preferred in quality control, breast sonography, and stereotactic biopsies Nice to Have
