About the Role Under the direction of a Staff Radiologist, this Mammography Technologist II performs mammography examinations at a level of optimum technical quality for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patients, in accordance with departmental standards, policies, and procedures. Works on a variety of technical and clerical duties requiring independent judgement, ingenuity, and initiative to apply Mammography procedures. Located in Evanston, IL. What You'll Do
- Under the direction of a Staff Radiologist, perform Mammography examinations ensuring optimum technical quality per departmental standards.
- Perform a variety of technical and clerical duties requiring independent judgement, ingenuity, and initiative in applying Mammography procedures.
- Maintain a high standard of quality care and adhere to the ACR guidelines while obtaining imaging.
- Ensure patient safety during examination.
- Explain procedures with tactful manners when there is a need for additional imaging.
- Perform specialized exams under the direction of the staff radiologist. What We're Looking For
- Education: High School degree or equivalent.
- Certification: CPR certification required; ARRT in Mammography required.
- Licenses: IEMA.
- Experience: Mammography experience required.
- Skills: Proficiency with word processing and computer skills; typing 25-35 wpm. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $35.35 - $54.79 per hour
