About the Role Produces quality screening and diagnostic mammography films and DEXA exams; educates patients regarding exams and accurately documents procedures and codes. Works within the Breast Center to deliver patient-focused care while ensuring MQSA and state regulatory compliance.
What You'll Do
- Demonstrate compliance with Code of Conduct and department policies; address questions or concerns and report suspected violations
- Interact compassionately with patients to provide a Five Star experience, explain procedures and answer questions
- Escort patient from sub-wait area to procedure room
- Explain the procedure to the patient prior to beginning the exam
- Obtain appropriate medical history from patient and family before the procedure
- Explain comparative film review and obtain patient film release signature as appropriate
