Job title: Mammographer
About the Role Responsible for performing a variety of mammography exams for patients, applying principles and techniques of mammography imaging to produce high-quality diagnostic images. The role supports the Medical Imaging department and contributes to patient care and safety.
What You'll Do
- Perform a variety of mammography exams for patients
- Apply principles, theories and techniques of mammography imaging to provide reliable imaging results
- Demonstrate proficiency with a personal computer, software, and office equipment
- Communicate effectively interdepartmentally and with patients and the public
- Maintain confidentiality and work independently with minimal supervision
- Maintain regular, punctual attendance at the assigned location
What We're Looking For
- Graduate of an Accredited Radiology Technology program
- ARRT certification in Radiography and Mammography modalities
- Current Oregon license
- American Heart Association BLS
- Image Wisely and Image Gently pledges or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire and annually
- Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
- One year of experience in Mammography; stereo biopsy experience preferred
- Ability to stand, move, and perform physical tasks as required in a clinical setting
Nice to Have
- Experience in stereo biopsy
- Higher education (Associates or Bachelors degree) in a related field
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $37.72 - $55.98 per hour (USD)
