Job Summary
- We are currently seeking to fill the position of MAMI Officer.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for the direct technical oversight, clinical quality assurance, and field-level implementation of the Management of Small and Nutritionally At-Risk Infants Under 6 Months of Age and Their Mothers (MAMI) approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Mission 1: Establish, implement, and supervise MAMI activities within health facilities and communities
The MAMI Officer is responsible for:
- Ensuring the delivery of high-quality clinical and nutritional care for at-risk infants under 6 months and their mothers using the MAMI Care Pathway package.
- Overseeing community screening, triage, admission, clinical assessment, counseling, and referral pathways.
- Integrating MAMI within broader Primary Health Care (ANC/PNC, EPI, IMCI, Maternity) and IMAM/Stabilization Centre services.
Tasks:
- Implement and update the detailed operational plan for MAMI activities across supported health facilities and catchment communities.
- Supervise the application of MAMI triage and screening tools (MUAC for infants
