Major Pipeline Project Manager

About the Role Join Nestoil Group as a Major Pipeline Project Manager to lead a multi-functional team in delivering engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, and commissioning of a major pipeline project. You will manage interfaces with subcontractors and OEMs, engage communities, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with strong HSE performance. You will coordinate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to drive successful project outcomes. What You'll Do

• Lead multi-functional project team to develop and deliver comprehensive project plans covering engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction and commissioning for major pipeline projects.
• Manage interfaces between subcontractors and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs); coordinate with the Joint Project Management Team (JPMT), Construction Management Team (CMT), OEMs, Ugo Ocha vessel operators, sub-contractors, and regulators.
• Engage communities to obtain cooperation and social license for project area.
• Maintain a detailed project schedule; execute the project within budget and schedule; communicate cost, schedule, risks, mitigation, uncertainties, trade-offs and enablers to executive management.
• Foster high-performance culture with stellar HSE performance and top quartile capital stewardship.
• Coach and mentor the field engineering team; interface with executive management to address and resolve project issues; provide oversight for all aspects of the project.
• Respond expeditiously to address and resolve project issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project planning and execution. What We're Looking For
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in civil, mechanical, chemical or process engineering.
• PMI Project Management certification.
• Minimum of 15 years facilities, engineering or project management experience in the oil and gas industry, with at least 10 years in a major pipeline construction supervisory role.
• At least 5 years offshore pipeline construction manager or project manager experience in the Niger Delta oil fields (advantage).
• Member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to facilitate diverse cultural and multifunctional teams.
• Proven leadership capability to drive project activities and resolve issues.
• Ability to coordinate all project interfaces related to planning and execution.
• Proven experience in installation of PLEMs and Offshore Buoys.
• Ability to adapt to challenges peculiar to working in the Niger Delta.
