Maintenance Technician

Volt is immediately hiring for a Maintenance Technician in Riverside, CA.
We are seeking dependable, safety-minded Maintenance Technicians to join our night shift team. The ideal candidate takes pride in a clean, organized workplace, stays focused on priorities, and takes ownership of the entire facility, not just their assigned area.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will:
- Follow all facility safety rules and procedures, and immediately report unsafe conditions or hazards
- Wear required PPE at all times
- Keep walkways, exits, and work areas clear
- Clean up after all repairs and maintenance activities, and dispose of waste in proper containers
- Pick up trash, debris, loose wrap, and damaged materials whenever you see them
- Follow 5S standards: Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain
- Identify and report equipment issues before they become failures
- Maintain the maintenance shop, PM carts, toolboxes, and parts storage areas in clean condition
- Return tools to their proper locations after use
- Communicate with leadership when delays occur
- Support team members when assistance is needed
This is a full-time opportunity!
Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday, 6pm-2:30am
Training Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday, Morning Shift 6am-2:30 pm
The ideal candidate will:
- Must be able to pass a 7-year background and drug screen
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
