Job title: Maintenance Technician
About the Role
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for equipment maintenance including breakdown and preventive activities, working under the supervision of the Maintenance Engineer to ensure plant uptime and proper operation during the shift. You will maintain machines per AM/PM logs, quickly address anomalies during breakdowns, and perform preventive and corrective activities according to maintenance plans.
What You'll Do
- Follow production safety rules.
- Work according to existing Procedures/ Standards.
- Receive and sort Spare Parts, Consumables/ Supplies as per SOP and 5S standards.
- Participate in regular Preventive Maintenance.
- Maintain MDM requests; based on requests update Equipment tree in SAP.
- Attend to breakdowns onsite ensuring rapid response and minimising plant downtime.
- Participate as a member in Maintenance Improvement teams.
What We're Looking For
- Technical Diploma in Engineering/ Maintenance.
- 3-5 years’ experience in Maintenance/Spare Parts.
- SAP basic knowledge.
- WCM skills for breakdown/ anomaly analysis.
- Experience and skills in identifying Root Cause and developing countermeasures.
- Machine technical knowledge.
- Production process knowledge is preferred.
Nice to Have
- 5S experience in maintenance areas.
- Additional Production process knowledge is a plus.
