About the Role KIRCHHOFF Automotive is seeking a Maintenance Technician focused on stamping presses. The role provides electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical support, drawings for maintenance, PM scheduling, and coordination of improvement projects to ensure efficient, compliant stamping press operations. What You'll Do
- Provide electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical drawings to maintenance technicians to aid in repair and troubleshooting of stamping presses.
- Receive quotes for refurbishing, repairing and maintaining stamping presses from vendors.
- Schedule PMs and work orders in collaboration with Maintenance Coordinator and Stamping Operations Manager.
- Monitor PM frequencies and content with Maintenance Coordinator.
- Ensure spare parts inventory adequacy for stamping press sizes/quantities.
- Coordinate stamping improvement projects and repairs.
- Troubleshoot ladder logic and other configurable automated control systems.
- Assist in necessary repairs to damaged equipment (component level if needed).
- Provide support to other departments and team members as directed by Maintenance Manager.
- Prepare work schedules with interim end target estimates for all projects.
- Seek and implement new technologies and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Maintain proper filing system for easy retrieval of information.
- Perform responsibilities under IATF 16949 and ISO 14001.
- Comply with occupational health and safety, company policies, and applicable laws. What We're Looking For
- Experience in the automotive industry with exposure to building equipment, PLCs, electrical systems, robotics, etc.
- Working knowledge of Advanced Quality Planning processes.
- Excellent blueprint reading ability.
- Ability to interpret CAD data and wire frame drawings.
- Sound understanding of IATF 16949 / ISO 14001 requirements.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and CAD tools.
- Strong communication skills, problem solving, and decision making.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities.
