Job title: Maintenance Technician
About the Role Maintenance Technician at the Perigueux plant (5-person workshop) will work with production teams to ensure reliability of mechanical installations, guarantee optimal operation of production equipment and the safety of employees.
What You'll Do
- Realize modifications to existing equipment following instructions.
- Participate in installation, start-up and reliability of new equipment.
- Occasionally assist in certain production operations (format changes).
- Ensure curative, preventive and corrective maintenance.
- On arrival, benefit from a personalized onboarding including safety induction, a plant tour, an overview of our manufacturing process and future working environment; internal technical training for several weeks in the role alongside an experienced colleague, plus theoretical and regulatory training.
What We're Looking For
- Ideally you have initial training in mechanics and have developed a solid technical expertise in mechanics and process technologies.
- You possess knowledge of mechanical systems and production processes.
- Ability to work with production teams and adapt to a manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to participate in the installation and start-up of new equipment and ongoing maintenance activities.
Nice to Have
- Ideally a background in mechanical engineering/maintenance with strong technical expertise in mechanics and process technologies. You are trained on data up to October 2023.
