Job title: Maintenance Technician
About the Role The Maintenance Technician will perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on production equipment, performing preventive maintenance, repairs, welding, plumbing, and improvements to PLC systems to maximize uptime and safety.
What You'll Do
- Perform mechanical maintenance tasks including preventive maintenance, machine repair, metal fabrication, welding, plumbing, painting, and related tasks.
- Maintain electrical systems for equipment and implement preventive maintenance to maximize production time and minimize downtime.
- Dismantle machines, replace defective parts and motors, adjust feed mechanisms, clean and lubricate components, replace belts, and patch or replace walls and paint as needed.
- Assemble, reconfigure, or move parts for workstations and furnishings; pipefitting and plumbing maintenance; clear drains.
- Operate welding equipment; perform TIG welding (preferred); troubleshoot control circuits in production equipment; implement electrical/electronic improvements; analyze electronic components and PLC systems for improvements.
- Repair and maintain electronic and electrical systems across production operations.
- Operate forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts as required; maintain a clean work area and adhere to safety practices.
- Perform other duties as requested.
What We're Looking For
- Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance experience; ability to perform preventive maintenance and machine repairs.
- Experience with metal fabrication, welding, plumbing, pipefitting, painting, and related trades.
- Ability to troubleshoot control circuits and analyze electronics to improve PLC-based processes.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and lifts.
Nice to Have
- TIG welding experience (preferred).
