Job title: Maintenance Technician
About the Role This visible position is responsible for effectively and efficiently diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing production equipment and performing preventive maintenance following Menasha Packaging standards for quality and safety.
What You'll Do
- Repair and troubleshoot production equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
- Assist in the set-up and tear down of production lines
- Promote a safe work environment
- Inside and outside building maintenance
- Willing to work overtime and/or weekends as requested by Maintenance Supervisor/Manager
- Follow and comply with Company GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) and maintaining quality work and product
What We're Looking For
- High School Degree or Equivalent and/or three or more years of experience in Maintenance; electrical, mechanical and hydraulics knowledge required
- Mechanical aptitude; able to multi-task and prioritize workload
- Effective interpersonal skills, including listening
- Self-motivated, assertive, self-starter, problem-solver and results driven
- Knowledge of PLC and Drive Controller
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand, bend, walk, and carry items weighing 50+ lbs regularly
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of shrink wrap equipment, balers, heat tunnels, printers, glue machines, conveyors, carton sealer, stretch wrapper
