Role Summary
The Maintenance Technician performs preventive and predictive maintenance on production and paper-converting equipment, troubleshoots mechanical/electrical issues, performs root-cause analysis, and supports production teams with technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and predictive equipment maintenance
- Troubleshoot machinery and production processes
- Diagnose issues using root-cause analysis
- Maintain maintenance documentation, drawings, diagrams, and BOMs
- Support projects designed to reduce equipment failures and maintenance costs
- Work with maintenance teams, operators, vendors, contractors, and technical specialists
- Troubleshoot motor controls, AC/DC drives, power distribution, Allen-Bradley PLCs, and I/O systems
- Read mechanical and electrical blueprints
- Follow safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout and confined-space requirements
- Respond to production equipment breakdowns and restore machinery operation
Requirements

High school diploma/GED required

Technical or college degree preferred

3+ years of industrial maintenance experience

Experience with preventive maintenance programs

3+ years' experience with:

Lathes

Drill presses

Band saws

Hand tools

Pipefitting

Welding/brazing/burring

Air compressors/HVAC systems

Mechanical/electrical blueprint experience preferred
Compensation
$30–$34/hour + quarterly bonus
