About the Role The Maintenance Technician role at Linde in Cudahy, CA supports safe and reliable cylinder handling, inspection, repair, and maintenance across the facility. You’ll focus on repairing leaks, testing and converting cylinders, receiving new cylinders and supplies, and contributing to continuous improvement while upholding safety standards. What You'll Do
- Consistently achieving results while repairing leaks, inspecting, and disposing of defective cylinders, and painting cylinders.
- Know the most effective and efficient processes of testing, repairing, converting cylinders, receiving new cylinders and supplies, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- You will operate a forklift to move product throughout facility.
- General cleaning tasks and basic facility maintenance What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Gas industry and cylinder maintenance experience preferred
- Proficient in mechanical operations or skilled in mechanical tasks
- Knowledge of equipment such as hydrostatic and ultrasonic testers, and maintain certification requirements
- Ability to ensure accountability through excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates personal ownership for safety and actively contributes to a strong safety culture
- Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift 40-70 pounds occasionally
- Willingness to work overtime

- Pay Range: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience
