Job title: Maintenance Technician II
About the Role Maintenance Technician II role performing intermediate preventative maintenance responsibilities for CNC machines, under minimal supervision, including troubleshooting, installation, movement, and repair of equipment, and handling hazardous materials.
What You'll Do
- Perform regular, scheduled, emergency, and unscheduled repairs of production equipment and machines during production.
- Perform preventative maintenance including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting on CNC machines, and maintain weekly oil stocking and chip management.
- Operate CNC machines in manual mode and change filters and belts as needed.
- Perform basic installation and troubleshooting of air supply lines.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance services.
- Operate forklift and scissor lift and perform daily forklift check-up for any issues or defects.
- Use hand tools, such as wrenches, handheld power tools, such as saws and drills, and precision measuring devices, such as dial indicators to diagnose equipment problems and replace, repair, test, and make adjustments as needed.
- Interacts and communicates with all levels of the organization, including the shop floor and management.
What We're Looking For
- Experience with performing maintenance on CNC machines and troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
- Proficiency with forklifts and scissor lifts.
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring devices.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across all levels of the organization.
