About the Role The Maintenance Technician role is based in Gotemba, Japan within IFF's Global Operations. You will own maintenance execution across PM, breakdowns, and compliance inspections, while driving safety, reliability, and continuous improvement to minimize downtime.
What You'll Do
- Own maintenance execution across preventive maintenance (PM), breakdown response, compliance inspections, and ad‑hoc work
- Ensure the highest quality standards in all maintenance and contractor work, with strict enforcement of GMP and food safety requirements
- Drive a strong safety culture, partnering with EHS and Food Safety to ensure safe work practices and compliance
- Lead and support process safety initiatives, incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
