About the Role Perform skilled maintenance, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair of campus facilities (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, building systems) to ensure a safe and well-maintained learning environment. This role reports to the Maintenance Manager and involves operating specialized equipment and CMMS, with no supervisory responsibilities. What You'll Do
- Perform skilled maintenance, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair of campus facilities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, building systems, sidewalks, and other infrastructure.
- Respond to maintenance requests, operate and maintain tools and equipment, and complete assigned repairs to support efficient College operations.
- Report to the Maintenance Manager; this position exercises no supervision.
- This is a security sensitive position; a background investigation will be conducted on applicants who are strongly considered. What We're Looking For
- Knowledge of building maintenance principles, methods, materials, and equipment.
- Experience with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems; ability to troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, and operate CMMS and specialized equipment.
- Familiarity with CMMS, forklift, personal lift, welder, torch, sewer machine.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and adhere to safety policies. Compensation & Benefits
