Maintenance Technician

About the Role The Maintenance Technician ensures operation of manufacturing, operations and R&D automated equipment to maintain production quality. This role supports troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and prototype fabrication to help deliver life-saving technology. What You'll Do

• Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems, using precision measuring, and testing instruments.
• Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, gauges and other equipment as needed.
• Ensure operation of robotic and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
• Removal and replacement of defective parts by dismantling and re-assembly.
• Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts: using rulers, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
• Fabricate repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
• Maintain equipment, parts, and supply inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level: anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipts.
• Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Aid and assist with fabrication of prototypes.
• Maintain accurate electronic maintenance documentation to meet ISO Standard. What We're Looking For
• High School diploma or GED; Associate degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Use of Hand tools, power tools, drill press, mill, table saw, voltage tester, gauges, measuring devices, grease and caulk gun, pallet jack, computers, and scales.
• Experience with robotic and packaging equipment preferred.
• Mechanically inclined. Ability to operate a variety of equipment.
• Availability for overtime and weekend work when needed.
• Quality requirements: Build Quality into all aspects of work; comply with FDA and Worldwide Quality & Compliance regulations; understand U.S. and Worldwide medical device regulations where applicable; attend required Quality & Compliance training. Nice to Have
• Experience with robotic and packaging equipment (preferred). Compensation & Benefits
• Salary: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour.
