About the Role The Maintenance Technician will perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to diagnose problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process. They dismantle, repair, and reassemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings, and perform checks with test and diagnostic equipment. They may rebuild equipment and implement modifications as directed by manufacturing engineers. What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot electrical or mechanical issues on electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment to determine root causes.
- Dismantle, adjust, repair and reassemble equipment following layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings.
- Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts and verify equipment functionality.
- Rebuild manufacturing equipment as required and may perform equipment modifications as directed by manufacturing engineers.
- Apply knowledge to complete a wide range of tasks; assignments are moderately difficult and may require some judgment. Requires general instructions on newly introduced assignments. Typically requires 2-4 years of related experience. What We're Looking For
- Solid electrical or mechanical troubleshooting skills on electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment.
- Experience with dismantling, repairing, and assembling equipment per blueprints or manuals.
- Proficiency with test and diagnostic tools for equipment checkouts.
- Ability to adapt to moderately difficult tasks and exercise judgment; 2-4 years related experience recommended.
