About this role
Position Summary Conduct machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, continuous improvement and preventive maintenance service. In addition, provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment. Responsible for ensuring a safe workplace while producing a quality product.
Essential Functions Reassemble machines after the completion of repair or maintenance work. Start machines and observe mechanical operation to determine efficiency and detect problems. Inspect or test damaged machine parts and mark defective areas or advise supervisors of repair needs. Performs preventative maintenance on equipment following a predictive maintenance methodology Lubricate machines, machine parts, or other equipment, according to specified procedures Ability to effectively troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis to maintain production standards Collaborate with cross functional colleagues
