Job title: Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift

About the Role We are seeking a self-starting Foundry Maintenance Technician on the 3rd shift to maintain, test, and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems in our Franklin NH foundry. This hands-on role supports all areas of manufacturing and requires strong troubleshooting and safety discipline.

What You'll Do

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic equipment, including programmable controls, numeral controls, power supplies, drives, gauges and test equipment.
  • Plan and perform work requiring knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical theories, write specifications, apply local and national electrical codes, evaluate materials, and understand operation of electronic equipment.
  • Install, start up, and shut down equipment following company safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
  • Advise operators and line mechanics on operating procedures and safety requirements.
  • Inform management and maintenance staff of potential problems and dangers.
  • Maintain performance and maintenance records for identified equipment; perform preventive maintenance as directed.
  • Assist maintenance personnel with troubleshooting and may train other team members.
  • Take on other projects as assigned by the Foundry Maintenance Supervisor or management.
  • Travel up to 10% for training as needed.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of proven experience in electrical/electronics, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic fields with high proficiency.
  • Computer experience and PLC programming capabilities; able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic components and diagnostic instruments.
  • Ability to interface professionally with line operators and other personnel.
  • Willingness to work overtime; high precision with minimum tolerances.
  • Understanding of and adherence to laws, codes, policies, safety practices.
  • Eligible to work in the United States; successful completion of background checks and pre-employment testing.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cutting, welding and fabrication.
  • Ability to cover other shifts.

Working & Physical Conditions

  • On site at the Franklin NH manufacturing facility; hours will be communicated by your manager.
  • Ability to stand for long periods; lift/carry up to 25 pounds; push/pull up to 25 pounds; move around the manufacturing floor.
  • Read documents and communicate clearly; wear PPE as required (safety shoes, hearing protection, safety glasses).
  • This position is at will and may be reassigned as needed.
