About this role
About the Role This position is responsible for the repair and maintenance of mechanical and hydraulic components of production machines and equipment such as metal fabricating, machine tools, material-handling system and automated lubrication system, assuring that equipment and machinery are in proper operating condition to maximize production and minimize down time. This position is also responsible for general building maintenance. What You'll Do
- Complete periodic machine tool preventive maintenance to ensure machine availability and reliability performance.
- Troubleshoot, repair and overhaul electrical/mechanical systems like pumps, gearboxes, ball screws, slide assemblies and other drive mechanisms.
- Knowledge of all standard measuring equipment including the proper use of micrometers, calipers and dial indicators.
