Job title: Maintenance Team Leader
About the Role Fortune Brands Innovations is seeking a Maintenance Team Leader for Master Lock operations to maintain equipment availability, design preventive maintenance programs, and drive continuous improvement. You will lead maintenance activities in alignment with regulatory and quality systems and support safety and manufacturing objectives.
What You'll Do
- Contribute to achieving company objectives and maintain equipment availability according to the planned targets; design preventive maintenance programs for machinery and equipment per regulatory requirements and our quality system.
- Promote continuous improvement of machinery and development of our team.
- Provide manufacturing support to ensure on-time production.
- Execute the preventive maintenance program and quality management system procedures; verify maintenance is performed properly.
- Lead modifications to machinery to improve efficiency, safety, and cost.
- Collaborate with other departments to solve safety, quality, process, engineering and cost issues.
- Participate in improvement project implementations.
- Define and maintain spare parts availability for all equipment's critical components.
- Track changes made to machinery (electrical, mechanical, or software); ensure there is a preventive maintenance plan.
- Participate in the development of equipment for new products or processes.
- As Team Leader, review payroll for timely payments and manage the vacation calendar to ensure balance of plant support and compliance with vacation rights.
What We're Looking For
- Education: University degree in a related field (Mechatronics, Mechanical, Industrial).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in maintenance activities including at least 2 years supervising personnel.
- Languages: Intermediate English.
- Other competencies: Lean manufacturing initiatives and regulatory programs; ability to develop and adhere to maintenance programs; strong organizational, leadership, communication, innovative, and service mindset; Microsoft Office proficiency; basic 3D design and drawing generation; basic PLC programming and HMI operator knowledge; knowledge of Electricity, Electronics, Pneumatics and Hydraulics; automation for industrial equipment sensors, motors, presses, stations; development of strategies to form work teams.
