About the Role The Maintenance Supervisor at Shoreline Amphitheatre is a working supervisor responsible for supervising and coordinating maintenance staff at the venue during events and daily operations. This role includes hands-on leadership to ensure safety, efficiency and smooth event execution. What You'll Do
- Direct and supervise maintenance staff and other employees performing similar services as directed.
- On an ongoing basis, lead and train staff, assist in staffing to ensure staff are informed on event specifics, and assist management to comply with venue policies and safety regulations.
- Partner with fellow team members at the end of show to close the venue (storing event equipment such as barricades).
- Oversee productivity and work assignments; communicate challenges and status of assignments prior to the conclusion of the shift.
- Coordinate team rest and lunch periods in accordance with state and local law and ensure coverage.
- Assign and schedule team members to specific duties.
- Enforce safety, health, and security duties.
- Other tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Manager. What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite
- Attention to detail, quality and accuracy
- Strong relationship building and communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs.+ and occasional sitting
