Maintenance Supervisor
Our client, a global food manufacturer in Cincinnati, Ohio, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for an approximately 2+ month contract position.

Position overview:
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will help ensure the reliable operation of the Cincinnati facility by improving equipment performance, minimizing downtime and strengthening safety practices. You will lead mechanics and electricians in preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs, and work with Maintenance and Operations leadership to improve equipment performance.
This is an onsite, first-shift role reporting to the Maintenance Manager.
Schedule: 2-2-3 rotation, with a tentative shift time of 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Skills Required
- Establish work plans that support and improve plant equipment reliability.
- Direct, train and develop 5-9 maintenance team members, along with contractors as needed.
- Identify ways to reduce cost and waste using Lean manufacturing principles.
- Apply problem-solving and root-cause analysis to resolve or reduce maintenance issues.
- Identify, implement and document maintenance and reliability practices that support continuous improvement.
Required:
- 2-5 years of related experience.
- Strong technical aptitude.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with SAP.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate others and work with employees at all levels.
- Ability to work an off-shift schedule.
- High school diploma or GED, with related work experience.
- Prior experience in plant or industrial maintenance is preferred.
