Job title: Maintenance Supervisor
About the Role Autoliv Tunisia is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the Maintenance team, driving safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets while maximizing equipment availability. You will support production continuity through proactive maintenance, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to Autoliv's mission of Saving More Lives.
What You'll Do
- Lead and develop the Maintenance team to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
- Manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to maximize equipment availability and reliability.
- Monitor maintenance KPIs (MTTR, MTBF, equipment availability, maintenance costs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Plan and coordinate maintenance schedules, resources, and spare parts management.
- Support production continuity through effective troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Participate in the commissioning and acceptance of new equipment and facility upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with HSE, quality standards, and maintenance best practices.
- Manage maintenance budgets, documentation, audits, and regulatory compliance.
- Drive APS/Lean initiatives and promote a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Develop team capabilities through coaching, training, and performance management.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a maintenance or industrial automation environment.
- Proven experience in industrial automation within a manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience in a technical leadership role is considered an advantage.
- Automotive manufacturing experience preferred.
- Fluent English and French, both written and spoken.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting (Siemens STEP 7, TIA Portal, Rockwell, Schneider, or similar platforms).
- Experience with HMI and SCADA systems.
- Solid understanding of industrial communication networks, including Profinet, Ethernet/IP, and related protocols.
- Ability to read, interpret, and troubleshoot electrical, automation, and control system schematics.
- Knowledge of robotics, vision systems, and automated assembly equipment is an advantage.
- Experience with assembly technologies, including screwing/torquing systems, robotics, and vision inspection systems.
- Good knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Automotive Core Tools and quality methodologies (FMEA, MSA, SPC, Control Plans, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.

- Previous experience in a technical leadership/expert role is considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of robotics, vision systems, and automated assembly equipment is an advantage.
