Job title: Maintenance & Reliability Specialist
About the Role The Maintenance & Reliability Specialist is the focal point for determining area maintenance service contractor strategies, administering service contracts, and coordinating MRO operations at the Institute, WV site. The role also supports EH&S initiatives and helps implement solutions to improve reliability and safety.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate and participate in contractor bid and selection processes.
- Execute contractor prequalification work processes.
- Monitor contractor safety performance and safety programs through IS Networld.
- Develop contractor training profiles and assist in training coordination with in-house teams and third-party vendors.
- Monitor field audits, EH&S standard assessments, and contractor observations.
- Actively participate in RCIs for contractors to ensure root causes are identified and corrective actions are implemented.
- Attend and contribute to contractor safety meetings and translate Roquette expectations into action.
- Ensure contractor indoctrination with documented site rules and a clear understanding of the work site standards.
- Directly manage contractor activities based on contract terms and resolve delivery-of-service issues.
- Monitor feedback via ISN and support contract negotiations with Purchasing to refine deliverables.
- Ensure on-site contractor compliance with Site Conditions Document and Roquette safety requirements.
- Understand scope of work and participate in job package preparation; conduct pre-job meetings and inspections as needed.
- Assist in development of contractor JSAs and audit compliance; monitor safety, quality, cost, and schedule.
- Conform to plant safety and environmental policies; uphold personal safety.
- Participate in EH&S teams and initiatives to implement improvements.
- Manage storeroom inventory to meet Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and oversee capital spares.
- Maintain documentation for MRO operations and assign SAP numbers as needed.
- Perform as MRP planner, MRP controller, or PM-MRO Materials Planner as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Education: High school diploma, GED, or higher with craft or technical expertise; technical or bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years in field contract administration, maintenance supervision, chemical operations, EH&S or project management; 5+ years in rotating equipment reliability is preferred.
- Computer/technical literacy: proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Excel).
- Experience with ISO and cGMP requirements (preferred).
- Experience with SAP (preferred).
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $74,695 - $99,006 USD per year.
- In addition, eligible for performance-based incentive compensation where applicable.
