Maintenance Operator
YOUR ROLE

As a Maintenance Operator, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and repair work on buildings, machinery, tools, transport equipment and other facilities. Working closely with the Facility Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As a Maintenance Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing minor repairs and troubleshooting issues with tools, machinery, technical installations, and material handling equipment;
- Carrying out maintenance on company buildings and facilities, such as dock doors, loading docks, sanitary facilities, and building-related technical systems;
- Inspecting and maintaining technical infrastructure across both indoor and outdoor areas, including fencing, lighting, electrical systems, and CCTV equipment;
- Supporting internal projects, such as office and warehouse modifications, relocations, as well as carpentry and painting activities;
- Recording completed work, identifying opportunities for improvement, and contributing to technical improvement projects;
- Participating in the on-call duty roster once every six weeks. Naturally, an additional allowance is provided for this.
WHERE WILL YOU WORK?
You will become part of the Business Support department and report directly to the Facility Officer. This varied role is based at the CEVA Campus in Roosendaal, where you will work in a dynamic logistics environment and perform tasks both indoors and outdoors.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a practical and technically minded professional who enjoys taking initiative and solving problems. You are capable of working independently, analyzing technical issues, and implementing effective solutions. Since you will regularly collaborate with colleagues and external contractors, strong communication skills are essential.
In addition, you bring:
- VMBO-level education or equivalent working and thinking level, combined with relevant technical knowledge and experience;
- Proven experience in maintenance and repair work involving buildings, technical installations, or equipment;
- A valid forklift certificate and VCA Basic Safety certificate, or the willingness to obtain them;
- Authorization to work on electrical installations and equipment, or the willingness to obtain VOP/VP certification in accordance with NEN 3140 regulations;
- Good command of the Dutch language and sufficient knowledge of English, both spoken and written;
- A proactive, hands-on, and flexible attitude;
- Strong teamwork skills, while also being comfortable working independently.

As a Maintenance Operator, you can expect the following:
- A monthly salary between €2,760 and €3,445 plus 8% holiday allowance (salary level depending on your experience and educational background);
- A one-year contract with the prospect of a permanent employment agreement;
- Employment conditions in accordance with the CEVA CAO, including 25 vacation days and 5 additional ADV days based on full-time employment;
