Maintenance Multi Craft Technician

About the Role The Maintenance Multi-Craft Technician will safely perform maintenance and electrical repair of machines, equipment, Powerhouse, buildings and grounds. This role requires hands-on work across machine maintenance, lubrication, electrical control systems, and safety/compliance in a manufacturing environment. The position involves 12-hour shifts (night and day) with a starting pay of $41.65/hour. What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot machine malfunctions using PLC techniques and implement improvements to plant processes via PLC modifications.
• Perform preventive maintenance, lubrication, and repair of machines, equipment, vehicles, and building systems.
• Construct, install, maintain, and remove machinery and equipment used in plant operations; engage in machine shop work, tooling, pipefitting, mechanical, carpentry, sheet metal, and rigging; furnish own basic hand tools.
• Conduct inspections and recordkeeping for environmental systems; assist in safety and fire prevention inspections; support incipient fire control.
• Install and repair electrical equipment (switch gear, motors, starters, switches, instruments) from wiring diagrams; install cables, racks, conduit, and pull wires; maintain lighting up to 480V.
• Monitor process and machine parameters during critical belt runs; audit machine set points and process parameters; verify calibration of process controllers and recorders.
• Document PLC programs, troubleshooting activities, and audit findings.
• Report supply needs and any unusual conditions to supervision; may drive company vehicles on plant property and handle related paperwork.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area; work at various heights and in environments with heat, dirt, grease, oil, and water.
• Train others and work independently or with a team, and be flexible with work shifts including weekends and holidays. What We're Looking For
• Minimum two (2) years of industrial maintenance and electrical combined experience.
• Ability to read and write legibly; capable of reading blueprints or sketches.
• Must pass a written Multi-Craft Technician test or demonstrate completion of a certified program.
• Experience or schooling in industrial or major machine maintenance and/or electrical work.
• Proficient with hand and power tools; must supply own basic hand tools.
• Able to climb and work in high places; able to work independently and in a group; able to train others.
• Flexible to work any shift and weekends; willing to work holidays.
• Experience in industrial mechanical and electrical work.
• Ability to use standard electrical instruments (amp meter, voltmeter, megger). Compensation & Benefits
