Maintenance-Mechanic

About the Role The Maintenance-Mechanic plays a critical role in ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of all mechanical systems within the Greensboro facility. This role performs routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a wide range of mechanical equipment to minimize downtime and uphold safety standards. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the maintenance team to identify potential issues before they escalate, thereby supporting production goals and operational excellence. What You'll Do

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose mechanical failures and execute timely repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
• Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and regulatory compliance standards during all maintenance operations.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new mechanical equipment as required.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and provide effective solutions to restore operations. What We're Looking For
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a recognized mechanical maintenance or industrial mechanic apprenticeship program.
• Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Certification in industrial maintenance or mechanical technology (preferred).
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) (preferred).
• Familiarity with welding and fabrication techniques (preferred).
• Knowledge of safety regulations such as OSHA standards (preferred).
• Previous experience working in a facility similar to the Frackville location (preferred). Nice to Have
• Experience with welding and fabrication techniques.
• CMMS experience to track maintenance activities.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
• Previous facility experience at Frackville is a plus.
