About the Role Join DHL Supply Chain as a Maintenance Mechanic in Goodyear, AZ. You will maintain and repair warehouse vehicles and power equipment (forklifts, trailers, conveyors, embroidery and DTF machines) and provide mechanical support for a dedicated delivery system, including preventative maintenance and major/accident repairs. You’ll also perform general maintenance of buildings and facilities, including water, heating, air conditioning, and electrical systems.
What You'll Do
- Schedule daily maintenance work.
- Perform repairs on forklifts, conveyors, maintenance equipment and other warehouse power equipment.
- Repair embroidery machines, DTF machines, and other customization equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance programs to ensure service reliability.
- Review pre-trip and post-trip inspection forms for immediate maintenance requirements.
- Ensure maintenance work meets company standards both internally and externally.
- Monitor vehicle condition and performance to ensure driver compliance with company driving policies.
- Manage parts inventory at the most economical level for efficient operation.
- Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area.
- Maintain HVAC systems and perform water/electrical repairs as needed.
- Carry out preventative maintenance programs and general carpentry on floors, walls, doors, etc.
- Ensure safety equipment is in proper working order.
- Complete required reports when maintenance tasks are completed.
- Respond to security/alarm calls as needed.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Pass Department of Transportation exam
- Pass a mechanical aptitude test
- 2+ years of previous facility maintenance experience
- 6 months related experience
- 2-5 years equipment maintenance experience
- 1 year of fleet experience
