About the Role Maintenance Mechanic B oversees and performs repairs on production facility equipment, performing mechanical preventive and repair maintenance, troubleshooting electrical and control systems, and installing equipment while following safety guidelines.

What You'll Do

• Performs mechanical preventative and repair maintenance on all production equipment following written work orders and guidance from the maintenance manager.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and resolve issues related to DC equipment and controls.
• Understand and troubleshoot issues related to electrical phase systems.
• Perform equipment installation and changeovers, including high-speed injection molding lines.
• Records work performed on designated forms and maintain accurate documentation.
• Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines.
• Identify parts needed and maintain the inventory of parts in the stockroom.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment; support equipment upgrades as needed.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED and three (3) years industrial maintenance experience.
• One (1) to three (3) years PLC troubleshooting experience.
• One (1) to three (3) years of experience with electrical – such as Three Phase.
• Three (3) years of Manufacturing Maintenance experience.
• One (1) to two (2) years’ experience with pneumatics.
• Experience with Injection Molding - high speed.
• Knowledge of Fabricating, Electrical, Rigging, Hydraulics, Drying systems, and Husky machines; understanding plastics preferred.
• Must be able to troubleshoot equipment problems; fluent troubleshooting techniques.
• Good machine shop skills and good oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
