About the Role Maintenance Mechanic B oversees and performs repairs on production facility equipment to keep our operations running smoothly.

What You'll Do

• Performs mechanical preventative and repair maintenance on all production equipment following written work orders and verbal instructions from the maintenance manager.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and resolve issues related to the DC equipment and controls.
• Understand and troubleshoot any issues related to the electrical phase systems.
• Perform equipment installation and welding.
• Records work done on forms provided and follows OSHA and company safety guidelines.
• Identifies parts needed and maintains an inventory of parts in the stockroom.
• Performs equipment changeovers and maintains injection mold lines - high speed.
• Other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED and three (3) years industrial maintenance experience.
• One (1) to three (3) years PLC troubleshooting experience.
• One (1) to three (3) years of experience with electrical – Three Phase.
• Three (3) years of Manufacturing Maintenance experience.
• One (1) to two (2) years’ experience with pneumatics.
• Experience with injection molding - high speed.
• Knowledge of fabricating, electrical, rigging, hydraulics, drying systems, and Husky machine. Understanding plastics preferred.
• Must be able to troubleshoot equipment problems; fluent troubleshooting techniques.
• Good machine shop skills; good oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.

Nice to Have

• Experience understanding plastics (preferred).
