Job Title: Maintenance Manager / Site Superintendent

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and operation of the assigned site, ensuring that all facilities, equipment, and infrastructure are properly maintained.
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for buildings, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC systems, and other facility equipment.
• Supervise maintenance technicians, artisans, contractors, and other site personnel to ensure work is completed efficiently and to the required standards.
• Conduct routine site inspections to identify defects, equipment faults, safety hazards, and maintenance requirements.
• Coordinate repairs, installations, replacements, and servicing of facility systems and equipment.
• Monitor maintenance activities and ensure all work is completed within agreed timelines and approved budgets.
• Manage maintenance materials, tools, equipment, and spare parts, ensuring proper inventory control and accountability.
• Liaise with contractors, vendors, service providers, and relevant departments to coordinate maintenance works and resolve operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and facility management policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment servicing, inspections, work orders, and incidents.
• Prepare periodic maintenance reports, highlighting completed tasks, outstanding issues, recurring faults, and recommendations for improvement.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, equipment breakdowns, and other site-related operational issues.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure all outsourced maintenance services meet agreed service standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, reduce maintenance costs, and enhance operational efficiency.

Salary

N500,000 - N1,000,000 monthly.
