Job title: Maintenance Manager
About the Role As Maintenance Manager in Utrecht, you will develop and implement maintenance strategies focused on preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize unplanned downtime and maximize productivity. You will lead the maintenance team and play a key role in continuous improvement initiatives around asset care, cost control and safety.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to reduce unplanned downtime and improve asset reliability.
- Lead, coach and develop the maintenance team to achieve operational excellence.
- Monitor and improve asset reliability and performance via KPIs and fault analyses.
- Initiate and lead root cause analyses and implement structural improvement measures.
- Prepare and manage the maintenance budget and optimize costs and spare parts management.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
- Foster a strong safety culture and reliability focus within the team.
- Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering and Supply Chain to align maintenance with operational goals.
What We're Looking For
- A HBO/WO degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a similar technical field.
- Experience as a maintenance supervisor in a food & beverage manufacturing environment.
- Thorough knowledge of maintenance methodologies such as TPM, RCM and predictive maintenance.
- Experience with CMMS systems, preferably SAP/PM.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven leadership capabilities and experience leading teams.
- Knowledge of safety standards and relevant Dutch laws and regulations.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
