About the Role
The Maintenance Line Associate leads preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment in Corning's Life Sciences division, troubleshoots processes, and executes repairs/modifications to keep production running at peak performance. What You'll Do
- Lead preventative maintenance activities and troubleshoot processes and equipment; execute repairs/modifications.
- Perform routine changeovers (lot changes, end-of-arm tooling changes, mold changes).
- Execute proper startup and shutdown procedures and verify equipment status.
- Assist operations with routine line issues, resets, and restarts.
- Complete required preventive maintenance at defined intervals and revise intervals as needed.
- Train and mentor other associates within maintenance and operations.
- Monitor output quality and quantity; troubleshoot and adjust machine/process parameters; alleviate minor jams.
