About the Role Kerry is seeking a Maintenance Lead to provide strong Health & Safety leadership and ensure all maintenance work complies with internal policies and relevant regulations. You will lead a team of six technicians, motivate them and ensure optimal execution of maintenance tasks. You will manage the weekly maintenance plan and flexibly adjust daily priorities to meet factory needs.
What You'll Do
- Provide strong Health & Safety leadership and ensure maintenance work complies with internal policies and relevant regulations.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of six technicians; ensure optimal execution of tasks.
- Manage the weekly maintenance plan and dynamically adjust daily priorities to factory needs.
- Apply technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and minimise unplanned downtime.
- Develop and maintain skills training plans for the team, including regular skill assessments.
- Manage spare parts inventory and optimise to minimise equipment downtime.
- Monitor the maintenance budget and continuously seek efficiency improvements and reduced downtime.
- Work closely with production and maintenance teams to understand needs and communicate solutions clearly.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a supervisory/leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Experience in the food industry is a plus.
- Familiar with maintenance practices and CMMS systems.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong technical/analytical skills and experience in writing reports.
- Proficient in interpreting CAD drawings for electrical, mechanical and facilities installations.
