Remedy Staffing is currently accepting applications for a Maintenance Helper with experience troubleshooting and repairing machinery. This is a great temp-to-hire opportunity for candidates with a strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on maintenance experience.

Pay: Starting at $16.00/hour and up, based on experience
Shift:
-
Monday – Thursday: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
-
Friday: 6:00 AM – 1:30 PM

30-minute unpaid lunch

Overtime may be required based on production schedules and business needs. Advance notice will be provided whenever possible. Flexibility for emergency repairs is preferred, although emergency call-ins are generally not expected until becoming a permanent employee.

Job Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment and machinery

Assist with machinery installations

Perform preventative maintenance tasks

Support maintenance projects and equipment upkeep

Help maintain safe and efficient production operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience troubleshooting and repairing machinery
- Experience with equipment installation and maintenance
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- PLC and/or computer experience is a plus, but not required
