About the Role The Maintenance Engineer/Manager oversees the maintenance, repair, and reliability of facility equipment, systems, and infrastructure to ensure uptime, safety, and regulatory compliance. They lead maintenance personnel to support operational efficiency and continuous improvement. What You'll Do
- Develop, implement, and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Monitor equipment performance to reduce downtime and improve productivity.
- Coordinate troubleshooting and repair for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Analyze maintenance data and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Ensure critical spare parts inventory is maintained.
- Supervise, train, and mentor maintenance technicians and contractors; schedule activities and foster a safety-oriented culture.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities.
- Lead equipment installation, upgrades, and capital improvement projects; coordinate with production, engineering, and external vendors; manage budgets and timelines; evaluate new technologies.
- Ensure OSHA, environmental, and company safety compliance; conduct safety inspections and risk assessments; support audits and maintain maintenance records; implement corrective actions.
- Manage maintenance department budgets and inventory; negotiate with vendors and service providers as needed. What We're Looking For
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent technical experience).
- Experience: 5+ years in maintenance, engineering, or facilities management; prior leadership or supervisory experience; manufacturing/industrial environments.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; CMMS; troubleshooting; leadership, communication, and organizational abilities; project management; MS Office.
- Certifications: CMRP, CMM, OSHA Safety Training; Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma preferred. Nice to Have

- Salary: $70,000 – $85,000 per year.
