Job title: Maintenance Engineer
About the Role As a Maintenance Engineer at Tarkett you help prevent outages by shaping the maintenance program, coaching colleagues and supporting other teams from a technical perspective. You will drive a significant modernization of the maintenance landscape and ensure the machine park can operate at peak performance.
What You'll Do
- Develop and manage the preventive maintenance (PM) plan with a focus on optimizing maintenance processes and the spare-parts strategy.
- Propose and implement modifications to machines and installations to increase reliability and efficiency.
- Contribute to a major modernization of maintenance and ensure the plant runs at optimal capacity, together with colleagues.
- Support other departments and the technicians on technical issues; train and coach colleagues when needed.
- Participate in the consignationdienst (on-call) rotation as part of the role.
What We're Looking For
- HBO level education; preferably in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering (WTB), Electrical Engineering or Automation.
- Experience in an industrial production environment and knowledge of maintenance management.
- Understanding of safety requirements in an industrial setting.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to help teammates; proactive, eager to learn and to coach others.
- Dutch language proficiency, or strong command of English.
- Ability to think and work in a systematic/planful way; take initiative.
Nice to Have
- Experience with modernization projects and spare-parts management.
- Coaching/training experience.
