What You'll Do
- Respond to guest room maintenance requests quickly and professionally
- Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Troubleshoot equipment and complete basic repairs
- Perform minor repairs including painting, drywall, carpentry and fixtures
- Replace outlets, lighting, filters and guest room equipment
- Maintain tools, parts inventory and engineering logs
- Follow safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout
- Support team projects and communicate shift updates
- Assist with training junior engineers when needed
What We're Looking For
- Maintenance, facilities, hotel engineering or building experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical or general maintenance
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Reliable and team-oriented
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work weekends or holidays as needed
Nice to Have
- Hotel or apartment maintenance experience
- HVAC or trade school training
- Preventive maintenance experience
- Experience with work order systems
