Section: About the Role Amel International Services Limited, a food manufacturing company specialising in baking products and breakfast cereals, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to maintain production machinery, troubleshoot faults, and improve equipment reliability.
Section: Key Responsibilities
- Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production machinery and utilities.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime.
- Maintain milling, grinding, sieving, conveying, mixing, and packaging equipment.
- Support maintenance of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, motors, control panels, and automation systems.
- Assist with machine fabrication, modification, installation, and commissioning.
- Conduct root cause analysis and improve equipment reliability.
- Maintain maintenance records, manage spare-parts requirements, and ensure safety compliance.
Section: Requirements
- https://t.co/cqTb3tLWTm., B.Eng., or HND in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- 5–8 years of relevant industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
- Experience in FMCG, food processing, milling, sugar, salt, or flour manufacturing is strongly preferred.
- Practical knowledge of mechanical repairs, electrical systems, and industrial automation.
- Experience with locally fabricated machinery is an advantage.
