Maintenance and Reliability Technical Manager

About the Role Danone is seeking a Maintenance and Reliability Technical Manager based in Jacksonville, FL. You will oversee manufacturing maintenance and reliability operations and directly manage adherence to standards of work in maintenance, automation, and reliability teams. You will partner with the plant director to support day-to-day operations, ensuring a reliable operation and coordinating technical resources to meet customer demand safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Create, develop, and sustain a Spare Parts Stocking Strategy, including stock room management, parts kitting programs, and preventive/predictive tooling.
• Lead maintenance, reliability, and cost execution initiatives; drive PM/ IWS pillars; perform loss and breakdown analysis; manage vendors; develop technicians; provide automation leadership.
• Develop and sustain lubrication programs and utility system management (boilers, refrigeration, air compressors, water, electrical systems) and maintenance safety programs (confined space, arc flash, etc.).
• Provide administrative direction to Maintenance, Purchasing, Infrastructure and Controls, ensuring objectives are met and staff are developed.
• Partner with Engineering on BU/site technical master plan and a 3–5 year capital plan; drive technical solutions and lead multi-discipline capital projects from concept to initial production.
• Deploy innovations and capital programs to improve product quality, productivity, and capacity; drive sustainability, reliability, waste reduction, quality and safety improvements, regulatory compliance.
• Oversee the technical and professional development of Reliability Leaders and BU technical teams; promote standardization and cross-site collaboration.
• Foster a can-do culture with frequent communication, cooperation, recognition, training, and mutual support across departments.
• Demonstrate deep technical knowledge of plant machinery, equipment, processing, and product quality; engage across functions and lead plant leadership.
• Maintain integrity and ethical leadership; collaborate across plants and corporate leadership; partner with HR in union environments.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience leading maintenance and reliability in a manufacturing setting; strong cross-functional collaboration and leadership at the site level.
• Experience managing capital projects from concept through production; ability to develop and execute 3–5 year plans.
• Knowledge of safety programs (EH&S, food safety) and regulatory compliance; experience with IWS/Lean and TPM frameworks.
• Vendor management, mechanic development, and automation leadership; ability to analyze losses and breakdowns.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence at all levels; comfortable working in a union environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Danone's MP&S/Integrated Work Systems (IWS) framework, including its pillars (Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, etc.).
