About the Role The Machinist II–IV role is responsible for the precision manufacture of components using CNC and manual machining equipment, including mills, lathes, grinders, and EDM technologies. Work occurs in a regulated manufacturing environment requiring strict adherence to engineering specifications and quality standards. As levels progress, employees move from executing defined machining operations to independent problem-solving, process optimization, and leadership responsibilities. What You'll Do
- Set up and operate CNC and manual machines including mills, lathes, and EDM equipment.
- Utilize G&M code programming and maintain close tolerances.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and sketches.
- Perform fabrication, assembly, maintenance, and repair of parts.
- Measure parts using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and CMM.
