Machinist – First Shift
A growing precision manufacturing company is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with strong setup and programming skills. Candidates may come from either a CNC lathe or CNC mill background, but must be comfortable programming equipment, working with complex prints, and producing tight-tolerance components.
This position is located in Laotto, IN.

CNC Machinist Requirements & Qualifications:
- CNC lathe or CNC mill machining experience
- Strong CNC setup and programming experience
- Ability to edit and troubleshoot CNC programs
- Strong working knowledge of G-code and M-code
- Experience with 4-axis CNC machining
- Strong blueprint and technical drawing interpretation skills
- Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Experience machining components to 0.00X tolerances
- Ability to select, install, and adjust tooling and workholding
- Experience inspecting finished components using precision measuring equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and machining troubleshooting skills
Must Haves:
- CNC lathe OR CNC mill experience
- Ability to independently set up and program CNC equipment
- G-code and M-code knowledge
- 4-axis machining experience
- GD&T knowledge
- Experience holding 0.00X tolerances
- Ability to troubleshoot programs, tooling, setups, and machining issues
CNC Machinist Preferred Background & Skills:
- Technical degree or certification in CNC machining or a related field
- Mastercam experience
- Mazak lathe experience
- Experience machining complex, custom, or low-volume components
- Experience optimizing CNC programs, tooling, feeds, speeds, or machining processes
- Strong dimensional inspection and quality control experience
- Comfortable working independently from print through completed part
