About the Role Volt is seeking a Machine Operator for a leading tile manufacturing facility in Henderson, CO. This full-time, temp-to-hire role involves operating equipment, ensuring safety, performing quality checks, and supporting production on a rotating schedule. What You'll Do
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Treat process water by adding flocculant, checking pH levels, and logging discharge per SOP
- Inspect tile quality on the dry side and maintain the sealer area, including cleaning the booth
- Operate strapping machines to secure pallets of tile
- Perform quality checks and package tile as a Kiln Exit Operator
- Clean equipment and work areas daily to maintain safe operations
- Identify and report equipment or process issues to supervisors or leads
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support production needs What We're Looking For
- Ability to read, understand, and follow simple instructions
- 6 months to 1 year of manufacturing experience (tile or color production preferred)
- Forklift experience preferred (6+ months)
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
- Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
- Ability to perform repetitive movements and remain active throughout the shift Nice to Have
- Forklift experience preferred
- Tile or color production experience preferred Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $20/hour
- Schedule: Rotating shift; Monday-Saturday 5:00am-2:30pm & 12:30pm-9pm
