Job title: Machine Operator - Runner - 5K Sign On Bonus
About the Role The Runner Operator supports multiple production areas by operating equipment and performing diverse tasks on a routine basis. This role provides assistance to wet blending, packaging, liquid receiving, fermentation, and other areas, and includes training responsibilities to help develop new and existing operators.
What You'll Do
- Perform tasks across Liquid Packaging, Fermentation, Wet Blending, Liquid Receiving, Spray Drying, Powder Packaging, and other assigned areas.
- Train production operators in new and existing practices.
- Assist team leaders with orientation and development of new joiners.
- Float to other positions and work in various roles within a shift.
- Operate computer systems: FIX operator interface, Inelex, SAP, and Excel; track historical trends and select recipes, cycles, and chemicals.
- Follow procedures and run setpoints to produce QC-approved products with optimal yields at lowest costs; recommend efficiency improvements.
- Wash and clean equipment per sanitation manual; follow GMP.
- Operate forklift and aerial lifts.
- Assist other production operators as time allows.
- May be certified as forklift trainer.
What We're Looking For
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Experience: None required; preference for two+ years in food production environments or experience in key departments.
- Ability to be fully trained in Fermentation, Wet Blending, Liquid Receiving and Spray Drying within one year.
- Skills: Ability to work independently and with production personnel; capable of solving complex problems.
Nice to Have
- Forklift certification or forklift trainer certification (optional).
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour.
