Responsibilities of the Machine Operator
- Operate machines by following instructions
- Load components into machine
- Check work in progress for quality
- Make minor adjustments to machinery as needed
- Refer major issues to mechanic or supervisor
- May train on mechanical duties
- Complete paperwork
- Keep work area clean, safe, and organized
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications of the Machine Operator
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical school and/or appropriate on-the-job training
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to read/write English
